Clayton Seely is originally from the Tomahawk area, and graduated from Frank Maddock High School in 1994. Clayton attended college in Medicine Hat then transferred to the University of Calgary where he graduated in 1998.

Clayton completed his articling at Deloitte and Touche and received his designation in May 2001. After Clayton left Deloitte, he became CFO at a major car dealer in Calgary for 3 years. He moved back to the Drayton Valley area in 2005 to become Director of Corporate Services at the Town of Drayton Valley. Clayton joined the firm in February 2008.
